HOUSE OF FOUR REMODEL : BAR REVEAL

Hi there! I'm looking forward to sharing the concept and reveal of the bar in my home, so let's dive in!

When I purchased me home, it came equipped with a 90's traditional and dated bar with an over-the-top amount of storage and seating for an area that I wanted to feel less like a bar with a capital B, and more like an extension of my kitchen and family room. Part of how I accomplished this was eliminating the bar height island seating and reducing to a wall bar. It has everything we need: ice maker, beverage fridges, a sink, and some glassware storage. I'm not personally huge on displaying copious amounts of alcohol bottles in mine or my client's homes because it can feel cluttered and juvenile if it's not done properly, so you'll notice alcohol is scarce in my styling.

The Shaker cabinetry is the same "Alabaster" color that my kitchen cabinets and Family room cabinets are. The countertops are "Black Misty" granite in a honed finish. The backsplash is a white glazed brick that pairs nicely with my Oak floating shelves. We tied it all together with polished nickel plumbing and matte black hardware, and voila!
